Somos una quesería joven de reciente creación, aunque en nuestra familia siempre hemos estado fuertemente unidos al mundo de la leche. Nuestro abuelo Santos, fue mantequero, de reconocido prestigio, nuestro padre Roberto, lleva toda la vida trabajando en una importante industria láctea de la zona, y hasta hace unos años todavía teníamos ganado en casa.
El nuestro, es un negocio familiar, joven, fresco y con ganas de hacer las cosas bien. Nuestra idea, es potenciar siempre la calidad en nuestros productos, y el mejor servicio a nuestros clientes.

El Bardal Aged Cow’s Milk Cheese

Made with milk from the finest cows in Cantabria, pasteurized by hand in vats to preserve all its properties while ensuring complete safety. Matured and aged for 6 months with the utmost care and attention.
This cheese boasts a very distinctive texture and flavor, with a pronounced body and personality, yet without being overpowering, making it enjoyable for all members of the family. Its clean cut allows for excellent presentation. In short, a well-balanced cheese, ideal for a special occasion, or simply for indulging in a small treat for yourself and your family.

El Bardal Cheeses

El Bardal Matured Goat Cheese

This cheese is made with goat’s milk from our local supplier, Samuel Rodriguez, whose farm is located in Novales, Cantabria. There, the goats are cared for and pampered with the utmost respect and affection, and fed naturally, ensuring the highest quality milk. The milk is slowly pasteurized to preserve all its properties and maintain the cheese’s full flavor. El Bardal Goat Cheese is a pressed cheese, curdled with animal rennet. Each cheese is produced entirely by hand, with the artisan personally overseeing every stage of its production.

El Bardal Traditional Cheese

This cheese is made with milk from Friesian cows, sourced from our neighbors at the El Arrabal farm in Vioño de Piélagos. The milk is slowly pasteurized to preserve all its properties and ensure the cheese retains its full flavor. El Bardal Soft Cheese is a pressed cheese, curdled with animal rennet. Each cheese is produced entirely by hand, with the artisan’s touch at every stage.

It’s a soft cheese with an intense flavor that leaves a lasting impression on the palate, making you want another slice. Ideal for everyday enjoyment, it’s also perfect for a cheese board for a special occasion or for incorporating into a wide variety of recipes.
