Visit to El Pendo Cheese Farm
In the heart of Escobedo de Camargo, just 10 minutes from Santander, you can enjoy a guided visit where we расскаunt the story of our farm. During the experience, we take a short walk around the area while explaining the important environmental role our sheep play in maintaining the landscape.
You will also have the chance to feed the animals and interact with them, collect eggs from the henhouse, and finally enjoy a tasting of our three Jersey cow cheeses.
El Pendo is a family-run cheese farm, owned by two brothers, Andrés and Luis Pérez Portilla. They produce artisanal cheese, carefully crafting each wheel so that everyone who tastes it can enjoy “cheese just as it was meant to be.”
