Quesos de Ruesga was born from the union of two established cheese dairies in Cantabria (La Estela and Peña Quebrada). Caño Cheese
A soft cheese with a bloomy rind, its unique fermentation and aging processes give it a distinctive flavor. It melts beautifully, and with a light touch in the oven, it reaches a viscous, liquid state that is simply delicious. Its name comes from its characteristic white rind.

Salted, pressed fresh cheese.
Made using traditional Latin American techniques, but with the finest milk from Cantabria. It is left to rest for 24 hours before packaging to allow for further drainage and drying. This cheese has been very well received by Latin American consumers.
It can be eaten raw, on its own or as an accompaniment, or fried and incorporated into various dishes.
